The Magic of Planking

Have you ever experienced the wonderful smoky flavour of cedar planked salmon? The salmon cooks in it’s own juices making it deliciously moist. This simple method of grilling solves the difficulties normally associated with barbequing fish, with the added benefit of the flavour being enhanced with the sweet smoke from the cedar plank.

Team Cedar Grilling

We are extremely excited to be sponsors of the non-profit competition barbequing team known as "Team Cedar Grilling" and the success that they have enjoyed so far.

The Team has returned from the 2007 Canadian Open BBQ Championships in Barrie Ontario as the Grand Champions for the second year in a row!. Click here to see a slideshow.

The team also won the ‘Home Grown Award’ and once again will be representing Canada at the 2007 Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue Competition being held in Lynchburg Tennessee at the end of October.

The team has also been very successful in the Ontario BBQ Championships in 2007 and is leading the Ontario series with two more competitions to go.
